BEST ALBUM - Hardcore Superstar - No Regrets

BEST LIVE BAND - Quite a few but All American Rejects were fuckin amazing

BEST DRESSED GLAM ROCKER - Robin Fucking Black (of course) LOL

WORST ALBUM - The Darkness - Whatever the hell it's called

MOST DISAPPOINTING LIVE BAND - Hanoi Rocks (They were bloody good, they just didn't light my boat)

BIGGEST SURPRISE OF 2003 - Me sitting on the tour bus talkin to Chip Z'Nuff (He's one helluva nice/polite guy... something I didn't expect, with a cool cheesy grin)

BIGGEST DICKHEAD OF 2003 - All Politicians

BEST ALBUM - The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed

BEST LIVE BAND - haven't seen enough live to be able to say for sure.

BEST DRESSED GLAM ROCKER - no idea. lol Andii Vamp. lol

WORST ALBUM - Ummmmm.....don't remember. will get back on it.

MOST DISAPPOINTING LIVE BAND - Pretty Boy Floyd. Were supposed to play here and their bus conveniently broke down in Colorado.

BIGGEST SURPRISE OF 2003 - That I am still allowed to be a staff writer. lol jk Actually, for me, it'd probably be the Roller cd. A total throw-in by the label with Tuuli and turned out to be awesome. The interview I got with Ginger would be a strong second. Nice surprise.

BIGGEST DICKHEAD OF 2003 - Ummmmm.....so many to choose from....can't choose just one. lol

BIGGEST SURPRISE OF 2003 - Yeah, I'd go along with Tigertailz. Not heard the new version yet though.

BIGGEST DICKHEAD OF 2003 - Person responsible for the Great White/Rhode Island fire.

BEST ALBUM - Alice Cooper - The Eyes Of Alice Cooper

BEST LIVE BAND - Umm, I don't go to shows. I will be seeing The Brian Setzer Orchestra next month, so I will say that, as it will be the only show I see this year, and Brian just rocks.

BEST DRESSED GLAM ROCKER - Ummmm, tough one.

WORST ALBUM - Not the worst, but the most disappointing would be The Wildhearts. Does nothing for me. A reason for the band to reform needed better music that that. Yawn.

MOST DISAPPOINTING LIVE BAND - Again, I don't go to live shows. They keep people and crowds there. Sweaty people...yuck.

BIGGEST SURPRISE OF 2003 - Either Tigertailz, though since it isn't the full line-up, I am not too surprised. Or that The Wildhearts would release a full length CD of material only barely worthy of their B-Sides stuff.

BIGGEST DICKHEAD OF 2003 - Hmmmmmm, not sure.

THE DARKNESS - ROCK OR SUCK ? Still undecided. I should HATE them, but they get my foot tapping.

BIGGEST SURPRISE OF 2003 - That bands like the Bulletboys thought they needed to have a reunion, and for that matter, to continue on

Carl, how can you NOT like this Wildhearts cd? It's great!!! A little more polished than they usually are and a bit happier in tone, but still vintage Hearts nonetheless. Do I need to smote thee? lol

"Vintage"? I don't think so. That is the same line-up that did "Mondo" and "Earth", plus the song "Sky Babies", and there is nothing on that CD that even comes close to that stuff. "Nexus" sounds like they were TRYING to write in the old style, not like it just was.

When they regrouped, I wasn't happy abour it, as it seemed VERY un-Wildhearts like, and seemed a cash-in. I said then that they had better turn out something worthy of a regrouping. Well, I don't get why SG5 couldn't have done this album. It just isn't "Wildhearts-worthy", IMO.
